About Us

Welcome to our MIDI site!

We are based in Scotland and have been producing MIDI files for well over 25 years! We have also partnered with other MIDI file programmers to distribute their songs. We license all songs legally through MCPS, so no illegal downloads here.

We already run several other music websites but as we offer more and more audio formats, things can become confusing. So with MIDIfiles.co.uk we have decided to go "back to basics". Here we offer MIDI files and MIDI software only.

A few basics:

• Every song has an audio demo to give you an idea of what it will sound like played with a decent soundcard/keyboard, not just with a standard computer soundcard


• Every song also has a MIDI demo which you can download to test on your keyboard/module to know exactly what it will sound like with your own gear


• Every song has a song info page where you can see whether or not it contains karaoke lyrics that will display if your instrument supports this. 


• Some songs have several versions (album/single edit/remix etc) -on the song info page you can see the length of our MIDI version to check if it would be similar to the original that you are looking for.


• Most songs have a proper ending - but a few might have a fade-out. HOWEVER we are aware most musicians don't want fade outs - we are working on adding proper endings to all songs. In the meantime if you do come across one with a fade out, please do contact us and we'll be happy to fix it and send you a new version for free
