GM - General MIDI format that uses the basic sounds and is compatible with all software/hardware that supports GM

Tyros - Yamaha has released several versions of this keyboard over the years. Our files in this format (Version 2,3,4,5) will utilize sounds of those keyboards that go beyond the standard sounds where appropriate
